I’ve tried blogging before, but I’ve never been able to keep the site up-to-date. But, with recent revelations in the political world, I’ve decided I need a place to voice my opinion. My blog, created the day before the historic health care vote, will be a place for me to vent out my thoughts on politics, news, and sometimes just life.

As for me, well, my name is Nick Butler. I’m 17 years old attending high school in Binghamton, NY. My interests extend from politics to history, computers to television, games to books, and so much more. My biggest passion would have to be politics. I plan on studying political science when I get out of high school

In January 2009, I had the chance to attend the Inauguration of Barack Obama. In April 2010, I had a chance to meet him, on the South Lawn of the White House. Both of these experience have fueled my passion for politics and driven my hope to one day help this great nation.
